Whelp, I just started work at a new job so I wouldn’t expect too many updates anytime soon (not that I post all that many updates to begin with!). In case anyone’s keeping track the side projects I’ve been working on include a lot of graphics virtualization and streaming-world work, real-time BRDF [de]compression schemes, BRDF streaming schemes, a combination of the two into something i’ve been referring to as “Infinite Fidelilty Local Lighting”, some subdivision surface rendering stuff and a few miscelaneous other bits (the most notable being a new real-time texture magnification filter). So far progress on all fronts has been very positive although I have, perhaps, overextended myself a bit. Time permitting I’ll be working on all of this and I’ll provide updates as soon as information worthy of posting becomes available. In the meantime, not much going on but work and enjoying the beach.
